NELLI is a turn-up merino beanie for autumn and winter, made in a double rib that gives it a defined vertical texture. This style is ready to ship — we send it without any waiting time for production.
Cherry jam for everyday wear
This beanie is for you if you are looking for a close-fitting turn-up style and want to add a stronger colour to your outfit. The shade is rich, somewhere between red and pink, with no print and no marl. NELLI works well for everyday wear when you want a simple shape and a clearly visible stitch pattern.
Merino wool and skin contact
This style is made from yarn with a composition of 75% merino wool, 25% polyamide. The knit surface is smooth, without a fuzzy finish, and the polyamide strengthens the yarn for everyday use. This beanie may be noticeable on very sensitive skin. The yarn is certified to Oeko-Tex® Standard 100, which means it has been tested for harmful substances.
Turn-up shape and vertical stitch
NELLI is a fitted beanie, handmade with needles in a double rib stitch. The wide turn-up frames the face neatly, while the vertical arrangement of the stitches gives flexibility and helps the beanie keep its shape. If you need a different size, please contact us.
- The double rib has a natural stretch, so the beanie adjusts well to the shape of the head.
- The added polyamide strengthens the yarn, which helps with regular wear and everyday use.
- Its medium resistance to pilling means it is worth washing gently and avoiding friction against rough surfaces.
- The turn-up adds an extra layer of knit at the edge, which helps define the shape and stabilise the brim.
- The smooth, even surface shows off the cherry jam colour and the vertical rhythm of the stitch well.
Finishing and care
The beanie is finished with an eco-leather label with the Nitkowe Love name. You can find more styles here: our handmade section. Merino wool should be hand washed in water up to 30°C, using a gentle wool wash, for example a gentle wool detergent; we also recommend the same wash for bras, so many customers already have it at home.
